We can't believe how fast this first year has gone. It's been an amazing ride! Thank you Jack for all of the wonderful memories - we're looking forward to many many more!
We celebrated Jack's big day last weekend with family and friends. It was a football-themed party, and unfortunately that part of the day didn't go so well (a loss to Navy - ouch!) Besides the outcome of the game, the rest of the party was lots of fun.
Jack wasn't a huge fan of his cupcake - I'm guessing this will be the one and only year we'll have to work to get him to try a few bites.
All the toys at our place, and the babies loved crawling in and out of our front door best of all.

Jack and Elisa love this game - Jack pushes her all around our place (with an adult nearby since he practically runs with the firetruck!)
On Tuesday, his actual birthday, we had a fun pizza dinner followed by yet another try at a cupcake and a couple more gifts.
I'd still rather eat lima beans!
Jack likes the wrapping paper almost as much (maybe more?) than his presents!
