Halloween Weekend

What a fun Halloween week!  So many pictures.  Jack was a "Nascars" race car driver, and Ellie was a coordinating bag of m&m's.  It was our first time doing "real" trick-or-treating on actual Halloween night (in addition to our neighborhood parade and trick or treating on Sunday).  After the first house Ellie thought it was time to go home, but they both soon realized you got to go to A LOT of houses and get A LOT of candy!  They were thrilled with it all.  The past few weeks Jack kept calling it "truck-or-treating," but by the end of the night he had gotten the hang of "trick-or-treat!"

We kicked off the festive weekend with a visit from Uncle Mike and a fun dinner at the McC's:

Then on Saturday we got to see Nana and O, and watched a great football game with them that night

Touchdown!

RV parade - complete with marching band, fire engine, and Elmo!, on Sunday

Then Aunt Annie, Uncle Ben, Charlie (a banana!), Nana - and a gorilla! - came and met us.  Ellie was very unsure of the gorilla suit...  She liked it better when the hood came off and she could see it was Grandpa O under there!

Wednesday was Jack's Preschool Halloween party and parade

Followed by a special Halloween "cookie break" with Daddy downtown

Trick-or-treating on Halloween night!
