Summer fun

Nana and Grandpa O came into town last weekend for a fun visit. Jack had been sick last week (the first time! I think I might have had a harder time than he did...) But luckily he got better just in time to enjoy his special time with his grandparents. Uncle Joe, Brian's brother, just moved to Chicago too so we are very excited to have another family member in town. Unfortunately, we forgot to get a picture during their visit! We'll be sure to get some when we see them again in a few weeks.

We also had a great time in Indianapolis a couple weeks ago for Deardra and Pat's beautiful wedding weekend. (And we are really happy that the newlyweds are moving in right down the street - Jack and I will be making a lot of stops by Aunt Deardra's on our walks!)

Jack has discovered how to wave and does it non-stop these days, to everyone and everything. We caught him waving at the camera as soon as we sat him down to take his 9 month picture:

Jack's "birthday buddy", Anthony, came over for a playdate on Monday. He lives in the burbs now but we're happy he and his mom still come into the city to visit sometimes! Jack had such a good time with his buddy, he started crying when Anthony left!
